Time rolls by as this fishing line is through this hole beneath me
The universe illuminates my eyes and i can feel no limit on this chain
I wont return back to my home in the cold
Shone from my eyes the fish in the sky are just reflections
The shine of your smile dwarfs the moon that we sit under
A hundred miles down you swim in your gown below the ocean
The days are whip scars across my back but i still sit here and cast my line beneath you
Behind the tremors of light, i just wish you know that most of life is learning
A summer day is 30 days of arctic sun, the fish return to my river, Mountains melting from the fire in my mind
Wide, the horizon grows nigh, sometimes I fear The moon is not returning
I wont return back to my home in the cold
Shone from my eyes the fish in the sky are just reflections
The shine of your smile dwarfs the moon that we sit under
A hundred miles down you swim in your gown below the ocean

It's Not Alright
05:00
|
|||
Birds too cold to sing songs
Silence grows, the tundra shows me something
Thats neither here nor there, i can here something moving downstairs
Its not alright
We filled summer days with songs but its been winter here so long
Its not alright
We meet and part in dreams (The fire burns so low)
Cold stalagmites, stalactites drive down vampires in graves
But thats neither here nor there, there was never anything downstairs
its not alright
My eyes are blind with snow, i can feel footprints you know
its not alright
Faded lines
Distant drums fade in
Velvet ice sky
Filled with spiral rings
little light lines
mark the dancing rings
frozen firelight
feet are frosted still

East Greenland Tourist
03:09
|
|||
You packed my suitcase and kissed me goodbye
And i remember fondly my shirt covered your elbows
lifted to her lips she smoked all my cigarettes
Fly out to Newyeartown, and helicopter
East of Greenland I waited for a man who led me to his mountain home
He said you sensible people should stay in your cities
Im a dry land family man, i got kids at home
Accidental, incidental
The yellow-billed loons call to everyone
I do not belong here, a tourist in the mist
I thought I was strong, my lungs picked up and gone
Betrayed by my tongue, everything I said was wrong
In a white island of beasts Im an albatross heart
79 suns, ill promise you one
Is there a moon over you? Im staring at a midnight sun
Its a mirror watching me
Miserable invisible, missing what i left back home
wrong decisions, will you write to me
Continual thunder, people endure under
Hold your fist against the world and doubt the things that you are told
Eroding seas unbroken, sensitive unspoken
Im here
in a strange land

Lighthouse
03:51
|
|||
Time has no beginning, ice caps erupt with you
Climates of our individual worlds mark the dancing rings
Splintered underground, painted bodies in a twilight snow
I need you in the night, your world is a dream that i forgot
See the lighthouse, casting light out, im inside, find me
eternal sighing, the wind replying, floating ice moves calmly
So many monsters in a simple heart, recounts the losses of a thousand years
At home theres war, out here there's peace amongst the ice
Feeding my sorrow on the flesh of this arctic wasteland
Im inside lighthouse, burning light out, dead inside, dont find me
the wind is silent, the sky is quiet, im stranded in this madness
ice caps erupt
blind fish can hear
Over all the lands I
dream of loaded landmines
For love did you give away your life
Awake asleep
lamplight, ill keep it burning
Im keeping it burning, away from the moonlight
Inside a whale, call to me
Circling names, communicating late
dilerious day, no sun, no way
Odyssey Deep, nothing to keep
Waiting for you in this lighthouse
Another today another today
I made a Giants tear turn into a wishing well
As a young boy in the wild tundra
I imitated the
Running wolves
A wolf licked me one arctic night
I could see his eyes only craved for blood

Houseflies in the Mist
04:43
|
|||
Silent lightning, i saw it in a dream
Shapes disolve but childlike ghosts they do not
I wish that you were here while you were leaving soundless air inside your living room
Touched like an angel, her light is so bright that they all look away
I cant resist
Never went to sleep at night, artic sea was cold and bright
now houseflies in the mist
strangers never meet out here, you could walk straight for a year
The chill of the stars like lights of distant cars
Sulphurous clouds plume like faces
Frozen in a lake with seasons unawake its painted blue for you
Heart of mine froze inside of the place where winter died
I cant resist
Never went to sleep at night, artic sea was cold and bright
now houseflies in the mist
strangers never meet out here, you could walk straight for a year
Noone can exist
Flower in the night alone, Yearning where the sun had shone
The sun has eclipsed
The books are all so dull, seagulls leaving skulls, wind-blown wishing wells
Forgotten who we are, bathing suits and scars, polyester cars
Something natural, dreamt of grocery stores and motorbikes and more
I forgot the face of home, im a bee free from the swarm, alone in the storm
(bree) You are stranded here, all hope abandoned here, the valley floor is near
the sun forgot to climb, there is darkness inside mine, the mist still in the brine
Where land is never dry, theres salt inside your eyes, with despair you fought the fire
No treetops shelter you, white-faced you split in two, to die a death thats new

Middle of Something
04:19
|
|||
We all run out of days
Ive heard too many voices singing sad songs
And those days were as clear as fire
My windows shimmer like glints on sparkling water
And we have had enough
we sold all our dreams
and now we live here in broken moments
We sail on a lake of fire
and beat them to the ground
And stay right here down in the middle of something
Around the edge of ourselves
Alone inside the walls
Your eyes are coloured with the embroidered lights of sunshine
He stole away my mind
killed the wind inside
The candles there were left with nothing burning
An ocean cant resent all the years it has spent without a mind tethered here in time
Nothing, monotony, crashed without an audience
a billion years of pounding rocks into nothing
A full moon tonight, the waves smashed the trees,
A communion there that left no marks upon me
On contours of land, she would not take my hand
We sink in depths far down in a sea hole of nothing
We drowned into lines, the brine inside mine
The empty days ran wild with a million eyes
The kiss salt sprayed in time, a sweet eternal wine
Your branch like bones were camoflaged with mine

The Getting Place
02:39
|
|||
I found no sleep you know, wasnt a bed i was sleeping on
With all the lights out, no foothold of the night was mine
(wake up) (wake up)
What do i do
I keep thinking about tomorrow
on the edge of a dream
These wakeful dreams just ache inside me
Where is that gun from
I got it in the getting place
You better take it outside
Im gonna keep it inside
Diamonds in your eyes
Reflecting dark dreams
Where have you been out to
Never you mind you
(i know you *)
Slide a gun to your head
a flight of birds release
Clicking sound, eclipsing howl
safety catch release
The sight of something being closed
Closing all of your windows
The smell is bright and the taste is clear
You missed and removed your ear
dangled from the edge where day stops
Sleeping pills like birds on rooftops
Where is that gun from
I got it in the getting place
You better take it outside
Im gonna keep it inside
Diamonds in your eyes
Reflecting dark dreams
Where have you been out to
Never you mind you
(i know you *)

Prepare for Winter
03:16
|
|||
Give me sleep, the snow fell deep on me
Where the wind connects like streets, we meet
Sometimes theres no light here but we still call it day
Feathers in my coat to fly away
Golden hands still sparkle in the night
The wind was made of glass, Break the sun so fast
My yawning lenses host Constellation notes
The moon rose only higher, cast Fragments in the fire,
The fox is sleeping under the log, lazy mind
catch a little, take a lot, your babies
Nothing glowing sailors blowing daisies
Whiskey in the can got nothing in my hand and I am preparing for a long drunk sleep
(pause) Prepare for long winters here,
Faux wool scarf self- heating leather gloves on
Sealed off the doors and vacuum sealed the windows in
Insulate the crawl space, freeze the honey-bees and throw them to what fields may come
Froze this whole god damned town of mine
Golden birds sing in dreams of mine
A little fish in a dark ocean of time

What's at the Bottom
04:00
|
|||
I throw down a paperclip and remember Amsterdam
its the last night
of the Earth
and you're Down the hole with the fishing pole
SIlence in the undertow, I hear the ancient sigh
Do you think there is something there
Everynight I will sleep up here
The yawning chasm sings her name,
and the icicles all look like stars
if i could find the courage id jump down to meet you, (down to meet you)
I bet your bones are down this hole
its such a long way down
If i can get a handle on things
id shoot my flaregun down inside there
I remember it well, your scream as you fell down the hole
only you could know, whats at the bottom oh no
did you float down or Did you fall like a stone
If you pass the middle down becomes up dont you know
in the warm womb of my sleep I walk through the fire
Swallowed sight, snuff the light, the quick of life, inside the ice
Dreamed about a boarding house, i was late for class
and I was late every year, and i wished i could have just stay in here
The ice is screaming in my mind, it woke me, i looked down the hole
Maybe a happy place waits inside there, asleep and walking
Its crawling back into my eyes, and my tears fall to join the ice
now I have the courage to join the fire down inside there
I remember it well, your scream as you fell down the hole
only you could know, whats at the bottom oh no
did you float down or Did you fall like a stone
If you pass the middle down becomes up dont you know
*unrecorded (bree)
Expect a frost covered rose
Nothing down here but bones and snow
(kiss my frozen eyes, in all my dreams i am a swan)

Sea Journal
04:53
|
|||
Deep down in the hull i drink the best
Where the wind don't blow down against your breast
resigned beneath the sky, your eyes
Imagine ghostly mermaids call
But nothing matters anymore
Waters still on the arctic floor
Nothing matters anymore
clouds darken over every shore
ch 1
One thousand eyes in the sea
bubble up so silently
Jungles are all made of glass
One hundred days that never passed
And the wind is dead inside my eyes
Froze an eternal sigh
Find a bone mosaic of me,
my bones are shrinking slowly
I walk on piano wires
All my dreams are only lies
But nothing matters anymore
Waters still on the arctic floor
Nothing matters anymore
clouds darken over every shore
ch2
Luminous waves rise and fall
while i memorise these cabin walls
My dreams left in places where trees nay
The sunrays sent me mad in 40 days
My skin is tarnished black, the sun has frowned upon me
I know why penguins hide
Its winter back home, the leaves and snow
Must not hurry to and fro
But nothing matters anymore
Waters still on the arctic floor
Nothing matters anymore
clouds darken over every shore
ch3
My beating heart knows that im not crazy
just the fever has taken to me lately
I went walking in the garden of the night
Though some days my eyes are white
One thousand eyes in the sea
bubble up so silently
Jungles are all made of glass
One hundred that never passed

Carry My Love In
03:38
|
|||
Searching blue eyes, dusty with dreams
Delicate vapour of dancing trees
light withdrew its shine for you
Its like the whole year could just pass in your stare
The light shone through, the horses drew
And followed through to you
Her striped eyes stooped across the ebb and flow
Walking the turning moon for you
My body has answered to.. your arms
The frost on my window, i can see only shadows
the trees all above her draw down like lovers
She carries my love in
It Floats down through the maples
She laid in the gardens
Opaque, stood over mountains
White tailed spider lives in your rooms
Floats poison balloons to you
Flies inside my mind
Changing the aim of its thoughts and mine
Empty hands and ankle-bands
The tide pulls back again
The apple tree
grafted into the nest of bees
in Autumn the fruit died
I hid her some apple aways where theyd fallen
Blew songs to the wind, to rooms we had lived in
The seasons moved by with your cold reply
She carries my love in
It Floats down through the maples
She laid in the gardens
Opaque, stood over mountains

Wrap Me in the Sun
03:15
|
|||
Out here you miss the sound of barking dogs
They are the eternal children of our homes
They are there when you feel like no one wants you
Out here the ground just awaits your bones
I dont own a phone I write a letter to a friend
Cold the birds will speak although the trees will remain silent back
im a flower, wrap me in the sun
I never want to let you down my little one
I never want to go back down where no river runs
How did i get so far away from everything
You never let the light come in
All the small waves vanish in my mind
Why you always sit there staring out at nothing
I tread soft aloft the ice, you know that just
getting home
is cracking like a
ticking bomb

Little Jane came up from the rain
She said i havent seen Helga for months
Vladmiir looked in places that were the same
The world forgets occasionally
Genevere was comin here with sightless sue
Her songs were frozen under arctic blue
Inside my dreams she dreamed of me
Left to lament lone Polar nights
New Year came with bells and things
My grief recalling everything
In blinding ice we looked for you
Id drank with you on New Years Eve
Looked for you on a sea of ice
You had chased the grass so long
The brilliant sun will melt away
Your hiding place beneath the ice
Genevere came running here she could not move the sun
Little Jane came back again, her real age was none
Vladmiir came looking here, The hemisphere was done
The spider moved on ice
Fingerslipped not well equipt through haze across the land
Frozen doors and polar claws meet the Remittance Man
Helga ran from bogeymen waylaid all her plans
We wont find her here
Open up your listless eyes,
carry on breath-taking
Called your name to pierce the air
The horizon wanes, the sun behind
The dust of dreams, the dancing trees, into the arms of none
Searching eyes that closed and died and gazed upon the sun
Tundra grass like scattered glass they left you there, each one
And we moved on

And the day fades out
lamp shades over hills
underneath me too
ooooohh
Drove the mermaids crazy
left you really lazy
Made your heart stay crazy
ive heard no voices lately
This the beat of joy in my heart
I could lay here and i could die burning
unbearable, its unthinkable
Close your eyes and die
Im left stranded here
Oooohh
