Reece Delaney A brilliant collection of inventive, interesting and super catchy pop songs. Reminds me a lot of my fav musical mavericks (pre odelay Beck, Mark Linkous, Peter Gabriel, Waits etc. Some recent-ish aussie comparisons might be Richard In Your Mind, Machine Translations..that kind of carefree experimental DIY stuff. Hooks everywhere. Dylan turned me on to it, Well Played! Favorite track: After Party.

dominicwilliams86 This album is one of those that completely evoke a sense of that early 00's punk. The Introduction definitely grabs you and Put The Television on is definitely a standout track. Strangejuice have a wonderful sound that keeps going to places that you never expect it too. Favorite track: Big Jim Smoke.

postchaos11 Great multi-genre album with a dominant slacker vibe. Most of tracks sound like a good experiment on 90-2000’s alternative music. However some tracks like Hey You and Big Jim Smoke turned out to be quiet boundary-defining. Hey you is definitely my favourite track. I love Its Jungle-industrial production and the chorus hits me just in the right spot! Favorite track: Hey You.

about

“During the writing and creation of this album, nothing was sober, everything was afternoon, and there was a constant background of live chickens. The entire record was conceived and created in roughly two weeks, so nothing had long enough to be overthought, contrived, or to become stale.”
